Game Recap

If you were confused by the schedule of events at the Ice Garden on Tuesday night, you're not alone; so was everyone else involved.  For those who missed all or part of the game, here's a recap.  Brian Arrigoni opened the scoring with his fifth shorthanded goal late in the first period.  The Pioneer first line made it 2-0 early in the second with Tim Dickhudt finishing a great rush.  Jefferson then caught fire, taking advantage of several turnovers to score three times in seven minutes.  Derek McCallum blasted one in on a power play and the teams entered the third period tied 3-3.  The game remained tied, thanks to some outstanding play in the nets from James Fangel, until Brian Arrigoni netted the game-winner with 2:35 to play, duplicating his earlier goal with a rush up the right side and a shot from the faceoff circle area.
