Game Recap Moorhead defeated Hill-Murray 2-0 in the final game of the regular season for both teams. Senior forwards Brian Gifford and Chris Henry scored for Moorhead, with James Fangel turning away the Spuds' other 28 shots. Derek Hittle had the shutout for Moorhead, which has limited HM to one goal in the previous three meetings combined. Hill-Murray opponents with a winning record had a combined record of 300-84-15 (.771 win %) in all games not against HM, and HM went 11-6 in those games. HM played 4 opponents, all in the CSC, with a losing record and went 8-0 in those games. The combined regular season records of HM opponents was 358-200-35 in games not against HM (.633 win %).
